Good catch...I will pick up a couple of these boxes...great price!!
  • This will be an excellent replacement for a TvPad1, or serves as a backup device.

However, a few questions to @padman:
    1) If this device only has 1 GB Ram with KODI pre-installed, knowing how KODI uses a lot of RAM for caching content, does this mean this box is basically quite useless for anything else?

    2) From your own personal experience, have you connected this box to internet via WiFi. If so, what is your take on it? Is it as decent as TvPad4?

    3) Are you able to install Google Chrome on it? and access Google Play Store on this device?

I did a little search, and found that this box can be purchased for as low as $27

I have never used dealsmachine.com before, please do your DD before committing purchase.

    Side note:
If you want a even more power version, (2GB RAM + 8GB ROM, 64GB maximum extended capacity)
you can check Beelink i68 TV Box, from the same company:

  • you can load CloudTV on it, it works fine on few stream channels.
BTW, you know how to bring the apps to the front right?
Question, how to load image from my PC to this section?

You need a mouse to bring it to the front.

You need to send it to a image hosting site.

Is a custom version of KODI factory supplied with the X2?

If Yes, does the custom KODI support 1080p properly when hooked up to a 1080p TV?

It can be checked by playing the test file found here:
    http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=211244

The X2 uses same Allwinner H3 SoC as the Ubox. 'Stock' KODI from Google Play up to 15.2 will display 1080p content in 'upscaled 720p' format on Ubox and X2.

My order (2 boxes) was lost in mail, they say because I did not purchase insurance on my order, so they offered me a options either resend the parcel by paying extra USD$31.00 for it or give me a $31 credit on my account. It sucks...... :#

Did you pay by PayPal? If yes, you can file a claim with PayPal to get your money back.
  • 535four535four Member
yes, I did, have you make a claim before? how was it?
  • vqin88vqin88 Junior Member
Log on to your PayPal account and find the transaction in question and file a claim. PayPal will ask you for reason and will connect you with the Seller to resolve the issue. In my past experience, if you were buyer and did not receive the item you bought, PayPal will refund to you.
