the rss player tv box version someone shared on the htv thread works pretty good. no need mouse anymore. mush easier for old people to navigate than adrama or kodi. but your box need to have google service.

The Cherry TV APK app is awesome. Live TVB channels load very fast and supposedly it's a paid app and have been working for months. The only thing is you have to patch it every 3 days which is very easy. One APK is the app and the other APK is the patch. All you do is click on the APK App patch and it will restart the trial.

On Tvpad4, use a wireless mouse instead of remote. Click Home to select Channel, click + on far right enter a name whatever you want, enter RSS link http://allrss.se/dramas save and go back to Home, click on the name that you've enter then select the show you want to watch.

You can install this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pis.android.rssplayer.androidtv instead of the regular rss player and you won't need a mouse, this version works fine with the tvpad4 remote. You'll have to update your tvpad4 to 5.066 firmware, at this point getting locked out of tvpad store is meaningless, as the rss app requires google play services. Once you are on 5.066 you can launch google play and search for "rss player android tv" and you can install the app from there instead of downloading from an unknown source. The ads are annoying but if you google around and root the tvpad4 you can block the ads.
It's a paid app that let's you watch typical live channels. During the trial period, an annoying box comes up every 5 mins telling you to pay. Don't waste your time considering there are about 3 Free apps with the same streams.
