@Lily1981 - where are you located? I had the same problem recently and had to side load YueTV to the box. It should work after that, however, as many users mentioned, only the live stream is working right now. VODs and Replay are not working. Refer to this discussion thread - https://tvpadtalk.ca/discussion/1043/tvpad-4-automatically-erased-everything
On FW5.054 use manual DNS from best HK DNShttp://www.bestdns.org/for/hk/
Just download the following files and save it to an EMPTY USB, plug it into the pack of your device and follow the installation prompts:http://tvpadnews.com/2015/11/26/how-to-install-app-on-your-tvpad-4-yuetv-apk/YueTV 0.4: https://mega.nz/#!iQ8TzYBC!VdT1b1fj39dbtgnOoSoQhFUgQTMxE1qTj5aFnGBCiJUThese files are also in the useful file discussion thread, see link provided below:https://tvpadtalk.ca/discussion/233/tvpad-4-m418-useful-files-firmware-apps#latest
Tvpad4 and Unblock are not working cause by chinese new year holiday.News OK, drama nothing, I think it will resume after the holiday
@Lily1981 - It should be 2 files, did you download the "banana batch install" and the "YueTV" files to your USB drive? If so, once you plug the USB to the back of the TVPad, a batch install screen should automatically launch and all you need to do is follow the steps and install YueTV.
Hey everyone,Currently on 5.05 but TVPAD4 does not seem to be working. YueTV only works for live stream occasionally, but not VOD. I read somewhere that US is going through some legal battles with TVPad and the US servers are down. Additionally, the DNS reroutes to 149. are down bc those servers are treating the ones in the US who are going there as DDOS attacks. Long story short. Unable to have a successful Network Test (failing at the Server check mark), and unable to see anything populate on the TVPad Store for apps.Could anyone confirm thoughts here or have additional info?Currently in Chicago, IL, USA area. Thanks!
@hennytron : Long story short. just subscribe to a VPN service (e.g. VPNUnlimited) and install 港粵網路電視 app. Set VPN to anywhere but U.S., and you should be good to go.
